Hi, my name is Reshmi Chand.

I am originally from Fiji Island and have lived in New Zealand since 1999 with my husband and 2 children. I have been an educator since 2014 and have completed my level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education.

I have separate learning spaces for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers with amazing resources both indoors and outdoors, and go on adventures to the big playground near my house which the children enjoy exploring.

I value respect and acknowledge each child’s culture and identity and always believe in building a positive relationship with children, creating a positive home away from home environment. I provide information about children’s ongoing development and learning through online portfolio’s, to enable sharing with families easily as well as providing a portfolio book that each child and keep and revisit.

I am enthusiastic about working with children and have found my role as an educator to be extremely rewarding. I believe that each child is special and unique, and I believe in nurturing children with love and respect ensure a solid foundation for their future success.

Monday to Friday.

New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education & Care Level 4
