Tonya

Waihi

My name is Tonya, and I reside in Waihi with my two children, both of whom attend primary school. About a year and a half ago, my child was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and this has significantly shaped my priorities and what I seek from life.

Having a child with a disability has deepened my passion for nurturing children and learning alongside them. I love watching children grow and develop, and I’m excited to create a space where they can explore at their own pace. My goal is to support their unique interests and offer a variety of opportunities to enhance their learning and development.

On a day-to-day basis, I provide engaging experiences such as arts and crafts, playdough, messy play, and water play. Additionally, I enjoy baking healthy, sugar-free treats that children can get involved with, it’s one of my favourite activities!

I look forward to meeting new families and working together to encourage your child’s growth and learning.

If this sounds as though it would be a good fit for your child, please contact Jemma’s and they can let you know what spaces I have available.
